Flinders Reef trips depend on the weather and sea conditions. If it’s not safe to head out that far, we’ll take you to the best spot on the day.
Mudjimba Island: turtles close to home
Just a short boat ride from Mooloolaba, Mudjimba Island has coral gardens from about two metres deep, so it suits first-timers and families. Green sea turtles are regular visitors, and the rocks are full of reef fish, rays and colourful nudibranchs. The 2-hour charter is perfect for a quick, unforgettable swim.
Flinders Reef: a slice of the tropics
On a 4 or 6-hour charter we can cruise to Flinders Reef in the Moreton Bay Marine Park. It’s the only true coral reef in the Brisbane region, with hard and soft corals, a turtle cleaning station, wobbegong sharks and huge schools of fish. On the full day there’s time to explore both sides of the reef and enjoy a break on board in between.
