Itinerary

Day 1
  • Depart Bundaberg to Lady Musgrave HQ on luxury catamaran ‘Reef Empress’
  • Meet our crew and Pressure Project team
  • Enjoy morning tea and barista-made coffee in the Captain’s Premium Lounge
  • Arrive at Lady Musgrave HQ pontoon
  • Lady Musgrave orientation – Glass bottom boat, guided island walk, lunch and snorkel brief
  • Breath Workshop
  • Fun dive in the lagoon straight off the pontoon
  • Sunset drinks – western side
  • Dinner
Day 2 and 3
  • Breakfast on Lady Musgrave HQ
  • Gear up to board our custom dive boat ‘Underworld’
  • Embark on two adventure dives to the outer reef off Lady Musgrave Island and Fairfax Islands
  • Arrive back to Lady Musgrave HQ for lunch on the pontoon
  • Settle into your accommodation and snorkel Lady Musgrave Island Lagoon at leisure
  • Dive straight into the lagoon from the dive platform on the pontoon at dusk to find the highly sought after mandarinfish, visit the turtle cleaning stations or go on a night dive
  • Three course dinner prepared by our chef onboard
  • Get a good night’s sleep to prepare for the next day of diving adventures!
Day 4
  • Breakfast on Lady Musgrave HQ
  • Snorkel at leisure in Lady Musgrave lagoon to spot the resident mandarinfish and turtles
  • Pack bags for check-out on the day of departure by 9.30am
  • Embark on two adventure outer reef dives off Lady Musgrave Island and Fairfax Islands
  • Arrive back to Lady Musgrave HQ for lunch on the pontoon
  • Return transfer leaves Lady Musgrave HQ at 2.15pm on the day of departure
  • Arrive back at Bundaberg Port Marina by 5.30pm

Frequently Asked Questions

  • Travel insurance is strongly recommended to cover unforeseen circumstances as this retreat is subject to weather conditions as the Pontoon is accessed by Catamaran.
  • Bundaberg Port Marina.

The Catamaran departs on Monday 19th of August at 7.15. Please ensure you arrive at 7am

  • Car parking is available on the gravel car park signed for Lady Musgrave Experience guests
  • It is recommended, we would suggest a motel in Bargara or somewhere else close to the Marina. However, this is not essential.
  • Return transfer leaves Lady Musgrave HQ at 2.15pm on the day of departure, to arrive back at Bundaberg Port Marina by 5.30pm
  • We suggest you pack as minimal as possible.
  • Dive gear: fins, wetsuit, snorkel, mask, weight belt, and weights (hire gear costs below)
  • Medications: sunscreen, seasick tablets (for line diving), hydrolytes
  • Casual clothes, yoga clothes, warm jumpers for evening, sunscreen, hat, casual shoes, reef shoes, water bottle
  • All linen, pillows, and towels are supplied.
  • Soft bags are preferred.
  • Lockers are provided
  • We strongly recommend a freediving wetsuit that is 5mm in thickness and has a hood.
  • Weights are provided

You can hire gear from the dive store, but we strongly suggest you bring your own.

  • Full gear hire is $50 which includes mask, snorkel, scuba diving fins, weights, wetsuit
  • Torch hire for night is $10
  • Wetsuit hire is $10

  • Purchases on Island can be paid for by cash, EFTPOS or most major credit cards.
  • Unfortunately not – it is very likely you will not have reception for the duration of the trip – embrace the digital detox!
  • Breakfast, lunch and three course dinner is provided as well as morning and afternoon teas on the catamaran transfers
  • Queen Glamping Beds – tents that can be shared as a couple or single on the Upper Deck
  • Single Bunk Beds – located in the underwater observatory with views of marine life. This is a shared space with max. 20 guests.
  • No – this is purely exclusive to The Pressure Project guests!
  • Yes! This retreat is for certified divers only. No certification, reach out and see if we can get you through a course before it!
  • Medical – Yes, you will need to complete a medical form. Upon review, we may let you know you are required to also complete a valid 4005.1 AS Dive Medical prior to your course.
